Policies & Guidelines

To ensure a pleasant experience for all our guests, we encourage you to review our policies and guidelines before making a reservation. Familiarizing yourself with these details will help you understand our procedures and expectations, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay at Hollowell's Motel.

Hollowell's Motel is a quiet, family oriented property. We have a zero tolerance on partying, disturbing other guests and acting inappropriately. Refunds will not be given if you are asked to leave.

QUIET HOURS

Quiet hours are 10:30 PM - 8:00 AM.

SMOKING

The majority of rooms at Hollowell's Motel are NON-smoking. Smoking in a NON-smoking room will result in a $200 cleaning charge and you will be asked to leave.

NO PETS

Hollowell's Motel does not allow pets in the rooms or on the property. Anyone found bringing a pet into a room will incur a $200 cleaning fee and will be asked to leave.

NO VISITOR POLICY

Hollowell's Motel and its amenities are for registered guests only. Visitors are not allowed on property.

POOL

Hollowell's pool is open from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. There is no lifeguard on duty and it is swim at your own risk. Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult. The motel pool is for use only by guests registered at the motel. Visitors are not allowed.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in time is 3 PM to 9 PM. After hours check in is available. If you will be checking in after 9 PM, you MUST call the office to make arrangements. Check-out time is 11 AM.

DEPOSITS

When you book two or more nights, a 50% deposit will be charged to your credit card when you make your reservation. When booking for a one night stay, the entire cost of the room will be charged to your credit card when the reservation is made.

CANCELLATIONS and CHANGES

If your travel plans change and you must cancel or change your reservation, Hollowell's Motel has a 7 day cancellation policy. Cancelling inside 7 days before your scheduled arrival you will forfeit your deposit. Cancelling outside of the 7 day window is a $25 processing fee per room reserved. If you would like to reschedule your reservation and you are not inside of the cancellation window, please call the office to make arrangements.

AARP DISCOUNT

We offer an AARP discount of 10% with proof of AARP membership. This is available before Music Festival weekend and after Labor Day weekend (not including The NC Seafood Festival weekend).
